This is the version for real fire: a double layer of aramid, rated for brief contact up to 932°F. Read that as short contact — lift the pan, move the grate, set it down. They are not made for holding hot cookware for minutes at a time, and no glove at this weight is. The five-finger cut still lets you grip a wok handle or a grate edge properly. Use them dry, clean and undamaged; a wet glove conducts heat straight through. Machine or hand wash, no bleach or fabric softener, and air dry before the next cook.
