The steel version, and bigger: five quarts takes a full pot of spaghetti or a bag of potatoes without a second trip. The base is micro-perforated rather than slotted, so water leaves quickly but rice and small grains do not, and the ring foot keeps the bowl level in the sink instead of rocking when you set it down full. Two handles let you lift it with wet hands from either side. Stainless throughout, so no staining from tomato or turmeric, no rust at the seams, and it goes in the dishwasher.
