Ten replaceable carbon steel blades, two holders and a stand come in the box, so you can change profile for the job instead of forcing one shape through everything. Note two things before you buy: there is no on/off switch — it is live when plugged in, and it belongs on the stand between cuts — and it is built for light work. Foam, mesh, plastic sheet and pumpkins are its range; it is not a heavy carving tool.

this works well to trim epoxy that has flowed out of the mold, even the very thin mistakes. I can trim even small locations that should be resin free. Much easier to use the heated knife then the one that is not. is quicker and looks better then using a plain knife
