These grommets were a direct replacement for the old sun dried and cracked grommets on a twelve year old Hunter fan on our patio. Note on installing them, you either need a small L shaped Phillips screwdri error or you have to remove the blade arms to remove the blades and replace the grommets. I absolutely love that I can find parts for a discontinued fan on Amazon and have the parts in hand in two days!

When a ceiling fan starts to wobble or tick, it is usually not the motor: the rubber grommets in the blade holes have hardened and no longer take up the play. New ones absorb the vibration again, quieten the fan and stop the screw holes wearing oval. These fit Hunter fans with 1/2 in screw holes, including Hunter II, at 0.41 in groove width and 0.44 in outside diameter. Eighteen in the pack — a full fan uses far fewer, so there are spares for the next one. Fitting means dropping the blades, swapping the bushings and rehanging.
- Restores the damping that stops wobble and ticking
- For Hunter fans with 1/2 in screw holes, incl. Hunter II
- 0.41 in groove width, 0.44 in outside diameter
- Protects blade holes from wearing oval
- 18 pieces — a full fan plus spares
